TRAVEL POSTER
Research

Creating a Parisian inspired poster required very distinct imagery, which was made possible utilizing very recognizable elements while maintaining an Art Deco aesthetic.
Adding a vector image illustration of the cat was in reference to the famous Le Chat Noir poster created by Théophile Alexandre Steinlen. French architecture was also heavily referenced when designing the background, implementing various styles of the mansard roof.
The color treatment for this piece was inspired by the classic red, white, and blue colors of the French flag, while tying in additional tones of grays and oranges for balance.
